Cabot Community Tour Tour Route & Schedule of Events
Cabot's Community Tour program is all about community and honoring the volunteers who serve selflessly to make their communities the best they can be. So it's only natural for the Community Tour to "take to the streets" to honor those who give freely of their time to build housing, feed and cloth the hungry, rescue and care for animals and do so many other amazing things to make this a better world.
Armed with a mobile kitchen called the Cabot Farmers' Gratitude Grille, some tents, tables, a strong desire to do good, Cabot and its Tour sponsors joined forces with thousands of volunteers from 97 amazing organizations to honor volunteers all along the 1,300-mile trek that began in Florida and ended in New York City's Central Park.
The Tour kicked off May 17 in sunny Jacksonville, Florida and closely followed the East Coast Greenway to its final destination on June 21 at Adventures NYC in New York City's iconic Central Park. The Tour brought together hundreds of towns and thousands of people to celebrate volunteers and the many communities and causes they serve.
Thirty-eight unique events took place at cities and towns all along the Tour to highlight and promote the good deeds done by volunteers every day.
